Hoover and Hornstein Triumph

 

In the 2006 Finale of the MGA 2 Man Match Play Joe Hoover and Gene Hornstein defeated the dynamic

Duo of Andy Odom and Bill Brown, and emerged as the 2006 Champions. The winners received  $500 in pro shop prizes for their accomplishment. Team Odom/Brown received  $250 I prizes for their solid second place finish.

Plans are underway for the 2007 season. We are looking forward to a great turnout of new teams for the upcoming season and hope you will join us in some team golf fun.

 

A GREAT WAY TO MEET THE TENNIS PLAYERS IN OUR COMMUNITY!

 

Fun Tournament play Fridays 3-5 p.m.;  Saturdays & Sundays 8-11 a.m.

All skill levels welcome. Rotating partners.

Guests, non-members welcome --- $5.00 per session (sign in and pay at the Pro Shop)

MEETINGS ARE USUALY THE FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH AT 11:30 AM. EXCEPT JANUARY AND JULY WHEN THEY ARE THE SECOND FRIDAY.

BOARD MEETINGS ARE AT 10:30 AM ON THE SAME DAY AS THE REGULAR MEETING. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE ON THE BOARD TO ATTEND.

 

RESERVATION FOR THE LUNCHEON MEETINGS ARE TO BE MADE WITH DESA AT 409-737-9800 EXT. 100. IF YOU WISH TO REQUEST A DIFFERENT MENU PLEASE DO IT AT THE TIME YOU MAKE YOUR RESERVATION.

Jane Collier and Mary Alice Black our fashion show organizers are hard at work on our April 6th style show. The fashions will come from Palais Royal. Cathy Heaven will be our master of ceremonies and will also be showing her jewelry.

This is a special note to all who wish to attend our monthly board meetings we will be meeting at 10:30 on the day of our regular meeting.

*WAG is sending out our annual membership form this month please fill it out and send it along with your dues ($25)  to Annette Moore at 7807 Wickersham, Houston, TX 77063. Even if you have been a member for years we like to update our information and add new updates like email addresses. Print it for us and include things you would be interested in having for special events and programs. Keeping our records up-to-date and accurate is very important to the WAG board.
