Golf Course Information
Galveston Country Club golf course hours of operation Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Fridays - 7:30 to dusk
Saturday, Sunday & Holidays - 7:00 to dusk
The golf course is closed on Mondays for maintenance. GCC golf course maintenance crew perfrom all cultural practices on Mondays. These tasks include aeration, verticutting, topdressing, venting, fertilizer/pesticide applications and many others. It is very important to observe the club hours of operation so these tasks can be performed without interruption and for your safety.
Periodically pesticides are applied. All laws and regulations must be followed as stated on each product label and is enforced by Texas Department of Agriculture and EPA. For questions regarding any maintenance practices, please contact: Jeff Smelser, CGCS: 409.737.9826

Care for the Golf Course
- Observe 90 degree rule
- Carts to remain on paths on all par 3's
- Carts to remain on paths within 25 yards of greens
- Replace all divots
- Repair all ball marks
- Rake all bunkers
