Dear New Member,  

 

 

     We have a wonderful Women’s Association whose purpose is to promote friendship among our members, to participate in altruistic endeavors on Galveston Island, and to encourage participation in the social activities of the Galveston Country Club.

 

 

     We would love to welcome the eligible members of your family to our group.  Please encourage them to come to the next meeting.  We think you’ll be glad you did and we would like the opportunity to get acquainted.

 

 

     Adult women authorized to use the club membership card are eligible for membership and are encouraged to bring guests to our activities.  Gentlemen guests frequently attend and are welcome.  Our programs are outstanding! WAG membership is $25.00 a year. 

 

 

     The monthly program-luncheons are held on the first Friday of each month.  Social time begins at 11:30 a.m.  Lunch is served at 12:00 noon and the program begins at 12:45 p.m.  The programs are announced in the club bulletin, the Sun & Seagull, and on posters throughout the club buildings.

 

 

     Board meetings, open to all members, are on the first Friday of each month preceding the monthly luncheon.  Reservations for both events should be made in advance by calling the club at 409-737-9800 EXT 100.
