Galveston Country Club welcomes to new members who enjoy fun tournament play! This is a wonderful way to meet tennis players at our club.

We play short sets and players rotate so that everyone is on the court as much as possible. All skill levels are welcome and dress is tennis casual. Everyone is invited to share in providing new balls for each session, on a rotating basis. The Club's two courts are located behind the Pro shop. 

Both courts are available for play during the hours when the golf course is open. 

Tennis/Pickleball Rules & Guidelines

  1. Courts are reserved for GCC members, their immediate families and invited guests (see House Rule #2).

  2. All players must register at the Golf Pro Shop or by calling (409)737-9830. Member number is required. Non-member guest fees must be paid prior to play. No exceptions.

  3. Members may reserve courts for a maximum of 2 hours per day.

  4. Court reservations may be made up to 7 days in advance.

  5. Reservations will be void if players do not check in within 15 minutes of their scheduled time. 

  6. Club tournaments take priority over individual reservations. The tournament director may assign remaining courts.

  7. Round Robin times are reserved (Please confirm accuracy with pro shop staff):

    • Friday: 3:00 - 5:00 PM

    • Saturday/Sunday: 8:00 - 10:00 AM 

    • All players are welcome

  8. Proper tennis or pickleball attire is required.

  9. Players use the courts at their own risk.

  10. GCC is not responsible for lost or damaged items. Violations may result in loss of court privileges. 

  11. Pickleball is governed under applicable Tennis Rules. The Golf Pro Shop oversees all Pickleball activity, including member use, events, instruction, and blackout times.

  12. No play is permitted after dark. The club dies not have lighted courts. 

All players utilize tennis facilities at there own risk. The Galveston Country Club is not responsible for lost or damaged items left at the courts.  The courts are provided for your use but failure to comply with the rules will result in loss of playing privileges.
